Dr. Duane Delaune, a 1988 graduate of LSU School of Dentistry, has practiced General Dentistry--with a special interest in Cosmetic, Full-Mouth Restorative and Preventative Care in Metairie since 1989. We also offer Botox and Juvederm to enhance Facial Aesthetics. Mission:

Our Mission. Our Passion. Our Promise to You. ❤️🦷

At Delaune Dental, we believe exceptional dentistry is about so much more than healthy teeth and beautiful smiles. It's about people, relationships, trust, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we care for.

We recently took some time as a team to reflect on who we are, what we believe, and why we do what we do. The result is our newly updated Delaune Dental Mission Statement, which now proudly hangs in our office as a daily reminder of the values that guide us.

At the heart of our mission are four simple words:

WE LISTEN. WE CARE.

We are passionate about providing exceptional, personalized dentistry for patients who truly value quality care, including those who may have faced difficult dental challenges or less-than-ideal experiences in the past.

We believe every patient deserves to feel heard, understood, respected, and confident in the care they receive.

And while we continually strive to deliver dentistry at the highest level, we believe something equally important sets us apart: the genuine relationships we build with our patients and with one another. Why do we do it?

Great Teams Never Stop Growing! 🦷✨
The Delaune Dental team just returned from an incredible weekend in beautiful Chicago, where we spent two fun and productive days at the Blatchford Dynamo Conference with our amazing team coach, Keri from Blatchford Solutions!

We stepped away from the office to learn, laugh, recharge, and sharpen the skills that help us work even better together. Our focus was on continuing to provide exceptional dental care and an outstanding patient experience, while also creating a healthy work-life balance that positively impacts not only our patients, but our families and each other.

We came home energized and excited to put what we learned into action at Delaune Dental. And we're not stopping here! Next year, we'll continue the journey at the Blatchford Peak Performance Conference, where we'll build on everything we learned and take it to the next level.

We love getting to know our patients beyond their smiles-and today we got a very delicious surprise from our patient, Dr. Hanlinh Tran!

Hanlinh may be a pharmacist by profession, but one of his true passions is pizza. He has spent years perfecting his craft and putting his skills to the test in pizza competitions. He's now preparing to head to Ohio for his next pizza chef competition! 🍕🏆

Today, he surprised our team by bringing us a couple of his creations-and there really are no words to adequately describe how incredible they were.

From the perfectly crafted crust to the rich, savory sauce and incredible combination of flavors, every bite was amazing. Let's just say… you haven't had a real pizza until you've had one of Hanlinh's! 😋

Sometimes, a beautiful smile transformation doesn't require changing everything-it requires knowing exactly what to change.

This patient wanted a brighter, more balanced smile and was unhappy with the discoloration and uneven appearance of his front teeth. Using The Delaune Signature Smile Design, Dr. Duane Delaune carefully considered his facial features, smile line, tooth proportions, color, and symmetry to design a smile that looked natural and uniquely his.

His transformation was completed with just 6 individually handcrafted lithium disilicate porcelain veneers, created by an Elite Dental Ceramist at Arrowhead Dental Lab in Sandy, Utah.

And beautiful porcelain is only part of the result. Take a closer look at the healthy, natural gum tissue surrounding the veneers. When veneers are designed, crafted, and placed at a high level-with careful attention to fit, contours, and the relationship between the porcelain and the gums-the restorations should blend harmoniously with the surrounding soft tissue.

The result? A brighter, more balanced smile that complements his face without looking artificial.

A little end-of-the-week happy hour with the Delaune Dental team!

We work hard, we have fun, and most importantly, we genuinely enjoy working together. After a busy week of taking care of our patients, sometimes the best team building happens away from the dental chairs-with good food, a few drinks, plenty of laughs, and great company.

We're fortunate to have a small, experienced team that has worked together for many years and shares the same commitment to taking exceptional care of our patients. That teamwork-and the friendships behind it-are a big part of what makes Delaune Dental such a special place to work and, we hope, a special place to be a patient.

What Do You Do When Your Human Has a Dental Appointment… But It’s Too Hot to Wait in the Car? 🐾☀️🦷
You come inside and supervise, of course! 😂

Meet Hugo, our honorary Delaune Dental team member for the day.

While his human was getting some dental work taken care of, Hugo found the coolest spot in the office, settled in right beside the dental chair, and made sure everything was being handled properly. 🐶

No barking.
No complaining.
No asking, “Are we almost finished?”

Just some very serious four-legged supervision. 👀🐾

We’re pretty sure Hugo would give the appointment four paws up—although he seemed a little disappointed that nobody offered him a treat from the prize drawer. 😂

At Delaune Dental, we always say we treat our patients like family.

Apparently, that now includes the family dog, too. ❤️🐕
