Turned and Emergency into a Quick and Easy Fi... - by Robert Bullington

When everything's going well, you can develop a false sense of complacency. That all ended when a wad of taffy pulled out a 15-year old molar crown. I called Dr. Dan's office in the morning and had and appointment for the next day by that afternoon. The only good thing about losing a crown to a wad of taffy is that it was pretty easy to identify and retrieve, so I carefully wrapped it and presented it to Dr. Dan. He assessed what was left of my old tooth, cleaned up the crown (removing the old glue that had given way) and glued it back on, taking great care to confirm that my "bite" was still correct. The whole visit took less than 30 minutes. Dr. Dan could have told me I needed a new crown fitting, and I'd have believed him. But he didn't, and that's just another reason why I won't go to anyone else.
