This was not just a cosmetic fix.
Yes the decay was visible and yes it was affecting his smile. But more importantly it was threatening the function of the tooth itself. A cavity that deep, left alone, reaches the nerve, and once it does you are looking at a root canal just to save the tooth. And if the tooth is not properly restored after that it can crack, shift, or cause problems with the teeth around it.
We caught it just in time. Cleared out all the decay, rebuilt the tooth so it had a strong solid base, and matched the crown shade to his existing teeth so it blended right in.
He came in the same day and left with a final crown he was proud of. No temporary. No coming back weeks later. Just done.
