Dr. Her's passion for dentistry came when he had his very first toothache! Like many kids, his weakness was having too many candy. It did not help matters that Dr. Her's parents owned a local grocery store with a candy aisle! That candy aisle was paradise to him but not for long. His toothache was probably the most painful experience he has ever had. Who would have thought that one simple visit to his dentist would relieve his tooth pain and turn his sights on dentistry as a possible career choice!

Dr. Her was born in Merced, California. His favorite childhood memory of Merced was playing at Yosemite Lake and the Merced Zoo with his brothers and sister. At 8 years old, Dr. Her's family moved to Sacramento where he went on to finish high school. Dr. Her attended San Jose State University where he completed his B.S. in Chemistry. Dr. Her continued his education at Touro College of Dental Medicine in New York and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2020.

Dr. Her is excited and honored for the opportunity to serve the community of Merced. Dr. Her would have never thought that he would return to Merced as a professional but as fate would have it, here he is! Dr. Her always have his patients' best interest in mind and is honest on his dental recommendations.
Dr. Her love the outdoors. He enjoys hiking with his wife and riding his road bike for exercise. He is also up for a game of pick up basketball if you ever catch him near the basketball courts.

We are also now accepting Medi-Cal Dental (Denti-Cal): We also offer an In House Membership Plan. Give us a call to ask about your insurance plan or for more information on our Membership Plan.

At this time we do not take Alliance, Delta Care, Medicare or HMO’s..
