This is worth watching.

This is one of the reasons I’m proud that North Shore Dental is still a family owned, independent practice.
We don’t have a corporate office telling us how many patients to see, what procedures to recommend, or what numbers we need to hit.

We get to make decisions based on one thing: what’s best for our patients.

Sometimes that means doing treatment. Sometimes it means not doing treatment. And sometimes it means taking the extra time to explain everything and let the patient decide what makes sense for them.

I’ve been doing this for more than 25 years, and I still believe dentistry works best when there’s a relationship between the doctor and the patient, not a corporate business model in between them.

That’s what we’re trying to preserve at North Shore Dental.

There's a story I've told hundreds of times in the dental chair... how I ended up in dentistry. Patients always ask, and I always tell it. But until now, it never had a name and a face attached to it.

Back in college, a teammate of mine convinced me to take the DAT. I don't know that I would have done it on my own. That one conversation changed the entire trajectory of my life.

25 years later, I'm still chairside. Still telling the story. And it still starts with Eric VanDyken. I don't know if you fully realized what you set in motion, but North Shore Dental exists because of that nudge. Grateful doesn't cover it. Thank you.

Today we celebrate nearly nine years of service and wish Jordan well as she pursues a new opportunity outside of dentistry.

For nearly nine years, she has been an important part of our practice, helping care for patients, supporting her teammates, and contributing to the culture we work hard to build each day. Her dedication, reliability, and commitment to excellence have left a lasting impact on our team and on the many patients she has helped over the years.

We are grateful for the years she invested in our practice and for the relationships she built along the way. While we will certainly miss her, we are excited for her as she begins this next chapter and wish her continued success and happiness in all that lies ahead.
