Who did it better?

Recently our front staff recreated some awesome awkward photos from the 70s/80s. Now our chairside assistants have tried to kick it up a notch with some new over-the-top awkwardness.

Is it time to change your toothbrush?

The American Dental Association recommends that you replace your toothbrush every three to four months or more often if the bristles are visibly matted or frayed.

A brush that is worn out may not be able to clean your teeth as well, especially along the gum line.

If you feel like your toothbrush is wearing out quickly, you may be brushing too aggressively. You may be tempted to buy a firmer brush, but don't! Stiffer bristles may be harder on your gums. Use a soft toothbrush and a gentle circular motion for the most effective care of your teeth and gums.

Today is National Cancer Survivors Day and Kittleson Orthodontics is a proud Supporter of Team Phoenix.

Team Phoenix empowers women to become proactive in their own health care and survivorship, move beyond the title of cancer survivor, and redefine themselves as athletes through introduction to the joys of exercise and living well.

It is an innovative 14-week fitness and education program in which a leadership team of multidisciplinary clinicians, triathlon coaches and volunteers encourage and assist cancer survivors to regain health and wellness after cancer treatment by training for a sprint-distance triathlon.

Check out this wonderful smile transformation!

This patient came to us when his dentist expressed concern about his cuspids getting blocked out (the teeth that belong in the space in the before picture). He also had protrusion and a deep overbite. We opened the space that the cuspids needed using braces and got his bite just right with some elastics
