Was In the emergency room with my brother 1 year ago. Just observing some of the things I saw and heard while I was in the waiting room.

1. Be patient. You don't know how many nurses and doctors available to serve all the patients.
2. Have your information with you so they can check you in..... drivers license, insursnce or any mediactions that you are taking etc
3. If you can .... don't bring the whole house with you. There is limited seating in an emergency room. You could be taking up seating from patients by bringing all 5 of your kids. Have someone as the point on communication and let everyone stay at home until it's time to come visit if you stay.
4. Dress warm and in comfortable clothes.
5. Be calm, respectful, receptive of information and clear about your emergency.
Why would you come to the emergency room to tell the nurses and doctors what you are and not gonna do? If you could treat yourself you wouldn't have come in, in the first place. Thats so annoying. Just use google and treat yourself and save eveyone the headache ( Saw the frustration on a nurse's face. But he was professional about it.) let's get healthy family!
