Dr. McGavin at White Palm Dental in Viera, FL recently completed a major phase of this patient’s bite restoration after decades of damage from nocturnal bruxism—teeth grinding during sleep.

Treatment so far has included:
• 5 extractions
• Scaling and root planing (deep cleaning)
• 1 root canal
• 8 porcelain veneers
• A hard nightguard to help protect the restored teeth

The next phase includes 9 additional crowns on the lower teeth and 4 dental implants to replace missing molars. The goal is to restore the patient’s bite to first molar occlusion, providing functional tooth contact back through the first molars to support chewing.

Millions of people live with nocturnal bruxism, and the damage can add up over time, wearing down teeth and affecting both function and appearance.

If worn or damaged teeth make it difficult to chew or leave you feeling self-conscious about your smile, call Dr. McGavin at White Palm Dental today at 📞 321-473-6920 to schedule a consultation!

🍎📚 White Palm Dental stocked the lounge at Viera Elementary School today! 🦷🌴

We love opportunities like this to give back to the incredible teachers and staff members who work tirelessly every day to teach, encourage, and support our students. ❤️

You don’t have to be a business to participate! Anyone can sign up to stock the lounge, and we highly encourage other families and members of our community to get involved. It’s a simple way to show our teachers and school staff how much we appreciate everything they do!

Thank you, Viera Elementary, for all you do for our kids and our community! 🍎✏️📚

🇺🇸 We Will Never Forget September 11, 2001

Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We pay tribute to the nearly 3,000 innocent people who lost their lives, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless individuals whose lives were forever changed by the events of that day.

For those here on the Space Coast, there is a 9/11 Memorial at The Avenue Viera, located right next to the AMC Theater. It provides a meaningful place in our own community to reflect, remember, and teach the next generation about the sacrifice, courage, and unity that followed September 11th.

There will also be a special 9/11 tribute today at 5:30 p.m. at Gleason Park in Indian Harbour Beach. Retired FDNY Lieutenant Tony D’Angelo will be there to share his firsthand experiences from September 11th. Tony was there during the events of that day and later participated in the cleanup efforts at Ground Zero.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor those who were lost, remember those who served, and recognize the extraordinary courage shown by so many.

Please take a moment with us to reflect on the events of 9/11 and pay tribute to the many lives lost.

Dr. McGavin got the opportunity to sign the Bluebird Turf drag racing car at the biggest national drag racing event of the year in Indianapolis! 🇺🇸

As a military veteran, he had the honor of adding his name to the car—and even got to meet the man behind the wheel, Will Smith! 🤝🔥

So next time you’re watching a drag race, keep your eyes on that car… you might just be watching your local dentist’s name fly by at 345 MPH! 😂🦷💨
