We had an amazing time supporting on Sunday! Although this was the last 5k & Family Fun Run, we want to encourage you to continue to support their work in helping children and families in the fight against cancer.

A HUGE part of the Kylie Rose's Run has always been the Bags of Love. These bags are provided and filled by volunteers / donors and you could be part of their continued success. Bags of Love are distributed to kids in treatment at Akron Children's Hospital. You can choose to sew bags, donate materials, or help stuff Bags of Love (or make a donation to continue this amazing mission) via the link below.

🤗 🎉 Happy anniversary in September to these amazing women! Stephanie is celebrating five years with us, Lori an incredible 18!!, and Paula has been part of our team for four years. ✨Mellion Smile Monday! ✨

At the new patient exam, the patient presented with:
🌀 Spacing
🌀 Midlines not aligned
🌀 Overbite

Dr. Zach and Dr. Alex recommended Invisalign to correct this patient's moderate spacing in both the upper and lower teeth. During the initial evaluation, they also noted that the patient's dental midlines were misaligned, which contributed to an improper bite on the right side. To correct the bite and achieve a healthy, balanced occlusion, the patient wore rubber bands on the right side throughout treatment. Establishing a proper bite helps support the long-term health and function of the teeth.

The patient also had a deep overbite, meaning the upper front teeth overlapped the lower front teeth more than ideal. Correcting the overbite helps protect the lower front teeth from excessive wear over time. In addition, the patient's upper lateral incisors were undersized, a common condition. Dr. Zach and Dr. Alex intentionally maintained small spaces around these teeth to allow for future bonding or crowns, creating ideal tooth proportions while improving the fit of the bite and providing proper clearance for the front teeth.

The patient was very compliant throughout treatment and did an excellent job wearing her Invisalign aligners as instructed. By continuing to wear her retainers after treatment, she will maintain her beautiful smile and preserve the ideal spacing needed for her future restorations, ensuring long-lasting, healthy results.

We are just under two weeks away from Kylie Rose’s final 5k and Family Fun Run and as we look back at Kylie’s journey, it’s incredible to see how much has happened in the past 12 years. We hope that you take a moment to swipe through the photos - one for each year of the event - and reflect on what a difference your participation and support has meant to Kylie, her family, and the other children and families fighting against childhood cancer.

As an event sponsor we are filled with gratitude that we have been able to support Kylie Rose’s Run over the years and hope that you will join us one last time to give Kylie an amazing send-off into her senior year of high school that she so deserves!
