Presenting a case from today. A young lady was hit in the mouth with a field hockey ball while wearing a mouthguard. She severely fractured her two front incisors. We were able to restore her smile with direct bonded fillings. After layering several shades of composite material we shaped and polished the restorations achieveing a virtually indistinguishable result. Both dad and patient were thrilled. Without a mouthguard she would have lost at least these two teeth, maybe more. It’s a very satisfying feeling knowing you can help someone in a situation like this.

To those of you who haven’t met her I’d like to introduce our new office manager! Her name is April and she comes to us with 24 years of dental experience. April has worked 17 years in a general practice setting such as ours and also managed a busy three location oral surgery group for 7 years. She is extremely pleasant, highly qualified and is always available for treatment and insurance inquiries. We’ve had a few changes in our office in the last few years and I feel our cohesive team is as solid as ever. I thoroughly enjoy working with this amazing staff!😀

It’s with heavy heart I have to announce the retirement of Sue Ellen from my front desk. Sue Ellen has been with me for 20 years, starting as a hygienist and over time transitioning to the front desk office coordinator. She was always so pleasant, competent and professional. Those of you who got to know her realize what a warm and kind individual she was. Replacing Sue Ellen is Donna who I think you will grow to love as much as Sue Ellen. Additionally, Sue Ellen has started a Teeth Whitening business called “Sensational Smile by Sue Ellen” that comes to your location, whether it be at home or at another event or facility. Also you can do this process in groups! The bleaching process is fun, safe and highly effective. I have no affiliation with her new venture but strongly recommend and support her business.
