Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the families, first responders, firefighters, police officers, military members, and everyday heroes whose courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

May we always remember the strength, compassion, and unity that followed one of the darkest days in our nation’s history.
