r one of the nine dental specialties that focuses on diagnosing and treating complex dental conditions such as worn or missing teeth, implant-supported dental prosthetics, and high-stakes aesthetically challenging situations. Dr. Jensen treats the typical "crooked teeth" in young kids and adults of course, but he also utilizes orthodontic and prosthodontic processes as needed to treat unique cases (young and not so young) requiring a creative combination approach to treat challenging dental problems. Dr. Jensen has been involved in research related to the utility of the latest dental 3D imaging technology: Cone Beam Computed Tomography. He has been consistently active in organized dentistry, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American College of Prosthodontics, the North Texas Dental Society, and in local study clubs consisting of like-minded, quality oriented doctors. He routinely works with fellow dentists to design treatment plans best suited for mutual patients. Despite his extensive training and experience, Dr. Jensen practices with an easy going demeanor, relating well with kids and adults alike. This results in a blend of good-natured fun as well as technical talent and know-how. Patients realize quickly that he truly cares that they are treated to the best possible result to fit their situation. It is not uncommon to find him taking extra time as needed to exceed the desires of those in his care. He truly gets excited about a first-class treatment outcome and, just as importantly, a great patient experience. Dr. Jensen has been practicing in the McKinney/Frisco area for the last 8 years. In order to provide an improved atmosphere of technically exceptional care as well as a place to brighten your day, he is now established a new office, Jensen Orthodontic Arts. He is excited to announce that it is now open to treating new and existing patients and welcomes orthodontic patients of all ages with no “project” too great or too small. When Dr. Jensen is not pursuing his professional passion, he can be found spending time with his wife of 18 years, Cherie, and with his 4 year-old daughter, Liberty. He also loves pursuing his passions in home projects, aviation, automobiles, music, and photography. He enjoys outdoor activities such as sports of all kinds, nature, and scouting (he is an Eagle Scout). He is also very active in service to his church and its related commitments.
