Nobody talks about what va**ng does to your mouth. We are. 👇

TikTok has a lot to say about charcoal toothpaste. Your dentist has more. 😬

If you’ve ever used it or been tempted to try it please swipe through this first because what it’s actually doing to your teeth is not what the algorithm is telling you.

The short version…charcoal scrubs surface stains which makes your teeth look whiter temporarily. But it’s also scrubbing off your enamel and enamel does not grow back. Over time you’re not whitening your teeth you’re exposing the yellow layer underneath them.

There’s a big difference between a glow up and a cover up. Professional whitening is the real thing. Everything else is just content.
