At Richards Frankel Dentistry, our goal is to provide our patients with exceptional dentistry that meets each patient’s level of dental care that is appropriate for them. The new patient experience seeks to get to know our patients and thoroughly assess their oral health in order to better understand individual patient treatment needs, desires, and goals. A new patient visit begins with an hour-long examination with Dr. Frankel. This is what many patients believe sets us apart from other dental practices! At the new patient visit, you can expect a conversation with Dr. Frankel, photographs, a thorough examination, possible X-RAYS, and a hygiene visit. 😀 🪥 ✨
Once completed, Dr. Frankel invites the patient back for a one-on-one ‘Review of Findings’ to go over oral health goals and an opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns the patient may have.

Hello! I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to those of you who don’t know me and reintroduce myself to those of you who do! 👩‍⚕️ 🩰 ⛸ 👋 👋 👋

I am Dr. Margaret Richards Frankel. I am the owner and Dentist at Richards Frankel Dentistry!
In addition to dedicating myself to my dental practice, patients, and employees, and also my incredibly loving family, I’ve always loved the creative arts and performing through ice skating and ballet.

I have always been a go-get-em, lean-in, work tirelessly kind of gal. Growing up, hearing “you can’t” or “you’ll never” fueled my fire. As an ice skater and ballet dancer practicing daily for hours, sweating and crying, and building up mental and physical stamina was the name of my game! It has served me well in dentistry today.

I love working hard for my patients, never accepting treatment as ”good enough”, and I know there is always more to learn and more to improve upon- this is what makes me the dentist I am today. I provide dedicated and motivated dentistry with an artistic flair. It’s who I am. Its in my muscle memory and a part of how my brain works! 🧠 😊

Meet Cody! 😃The RFD team is well versed and skilled in tooth replacements at all ages! Cases like this one are planned alongside orthodontists so that together, we can create space in the mouth for dental implants after braces.

The results speak for themselves - you would never know that Cody was missing any teeth! Now, he can smile with confidence and pride. 😁

I couldn’t have dreamed up a better team or kinder patients. 😀
The mouth is like a window into the body- it can help shed light on systemic conditions. Our practice cares about the overall health of our patients, including airway function and how it impacts sleep and oral health.

What is my crystal ball?
What I see in my minds-eye as the best possible outcomes for patients long-term.
It’s all about foreseeing and planning for future oral health success.

This patient needed orthodontics, periodontal procedures and crowns and veneers to make his mouth healthy again. 😊

🧠and ♥️. Planning and phasing complex cases requires a lot of advanced education- it’s one of the cornerstones of my practice philosophy and what guides my minds-eye.

I am one of four presenters lecturing this weekend at the Dental Society’s virtual event: THE ROLE IN DENTISTRY IN AIRWAY HEALTH, DEVELOPMENT, AND DYSFUNCTION FROM BIRTH THROUGH LIFE.

Katie has been a part of the RFD team for over 5 years, but has been in the dental field for 22 years. Her experience has taught her expert skills in restorative dentistry, and even in periodontics and dental surgeries. Katie truly loves building relationships with our patients, and providing an exceptional and personal experience for them. Katie is passionate about our smile makeovers and transformational dental treatments, and is by the side of our patients every step of the way. Katie loves to cook, and is married with a son who attends John Carroll University.
