Hot take: your incision design is either working for you or against you. The pita pocket flap starts at the lingual line angles — straight connector, interproximal releases at #18 and #20 — and the whole flap peels buccal. Then the guide drops in and holds it there. You’ve basically outsourced your retraction to a piece of printed resin. That’s the kind of lazy-smart surgery I teach at TRT. Helix GM in the osteotomy , keratinized tissue hugging the platform. What a Friday. Had the privilege of speaking at the Ohio AGD lecture at Dental Ceramics last week — talking guided surgery, digital workflow, and the TRT protocol I’ve been building with the community.
Got to reconnect with an old friend from OSU days, which never gets old. And walked away with a handful of new ones — that’s the part nobody tells you about when you start speaking. The connections are the whole thing.
Grateful for for being part of the story. The Helix GM system makes the guided workflow actually work — and that’s what I love sharing.
