A tongue tie can restrict tongue movement, making it difficult for children to maintain proper tongue posture and breathe comfortably through their nose.

🦷 Why does this matter? The tongue plays an important role in jaw development! When the tongue rests naturally against the roof of the mouth, it helps support proper palate development and healthy jaw growth. A restricted tongue may interfere with this process.

Early identification and treatment, when appropriate, can help support proper oral development, healthy jaw growth, nasal breathing, and better sleep as your child grows. 💙
