The Northwest Smile Design team looks a little different these days. ❤️
As many of our patients and colleagues know, Dr. Kelly Peterson, our founder and previous owner, passed away suddenly last June. We have experienced deep loss and grief over the past year, along with some changes—but through it all, we have remained a team.

This past year has taught us just how much we lean on and support one another. We’ve grown together, both personally and professionally.

Dr. Jeremy Koontz took on the tremendous responsibility of purchasing the practice and has done an incredible job honoring Dr. P’s legacy while continuing to move NWSD forward with the same commitment to exceptional patient care.

We’ve also welcomed Dr. Jacob Mack to our team, and he has already been such a wonderful addition! Be sure to check out his bio on our updated website.

This past weekend, Dr. Koontz treated our team to DS World in Las Vegas, where we learned about the latest in digital dentistry and more while also enjoying some much-needed time together—including a Cirque du Soleil show and dinner at Hell’s Kitchen!

It’s been a year of change, loss, growth, and new beginnings. While we will always carry Dr. Peterson’s legacy with us, we’re also incredibly grateful for where NWSD is today and excited for what lies ahead. 🦷✨

Thank you to our amazing patients and colleagues for continuing to support us, trust us, and be part of the Northwest Smile Design family. We’re so grateful for you. ❤️
