Cavities and gum disease are not the same thing, and you can have one without the other.

Cavities affect the teeth. Gum disease affects the gums and the support around the teeth. That means someone can have no cavities, but still have inflammation, bleeding or bone loss. Someone else may have healthy gums, but still be dealing with decay.

That is why we look at each patient as an individual and create care around what your smile actually needs. ✨
