As concern about the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) grows, we want to assure you that we are taking action to implement any and all guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), NC state health department, and the office of the NC Governor. Nothing is more important than the safety of our patients, staff, and families. We will continue to follow standard CDC guidelines for infection control and prevention, but in light of the potential risks associated with COVID-19, we are being proactive and have adopted the following protocols.
We are currently operating on a normal schedule. However, we kindly ask you to evaluate the following before entering our clinic:
•Do you have a fever AND signs/ symptoms of lower respiratory illness( cough or shortness of breath)?
•Have you had close contact with a laboratory-confirmed Coronavirus patient within the past 14 days?
•Do you have a history of travel to a Coronavirus affected geographic area within the last 14 days?
If you answer yes to any of the above questions, we kindly ask you to not enter and call our office at 828-652-5291 so we can reschedule your appointment.
We ask that no more than 1 es**rt person, who must not have any symptoms or positive history findings listed above, may accompany you to each visit.
To ensure all our visitors feel comfortable for your visit, if you and or your es**rt feel uncomfortable sitting in the waiting room, you may wait in your vehicle and we will come get you for your procedure. Please call our office 828-652-5291 to inform us of your arrival. The operatories will continue to be disinfected and cleaned with the proper protocols as directed by OSHA. The waiting room and all non-treatment rooms will be cleaned and disinfected at higher frequency to prevent cross contamination as well. We have also removed magazines and other non-essential items from our waiting room area. As the community risk level changes, and as the CDC continues to make recommendations, these protocols and policies may be amended at our discretion.
Thank you for your help in our efforts to prevent the spread of the disease.
