A message from our sweet hygienist, Sue Biewer,
she writes:
When you can spend your days with people you love who celebrate the successes, are supportive during challenging times, listen to your frustrations, encourage growth and welcome laughter, I cannot call that a job. I call it a life.
After 33 years as a dental hygienist in the office of Drs. Beauchamp, Gauss and Gschwind, it is time to pass the toothbrush to a new generation. It has been an absolute honor and privilege to have been employed by the Beauchamp family for 50 years; starting at the front desk with Dr. Merl Beauchamp and eventually working for his son, Dr. Barry Beauchamp, I had the unique opportunity to witness two generations of dedicated care and leadership. This past year I experienced my own meaningful milestones working alongside my daughter, Dr. Michelle Biewer. Sharing this journey with her has been beyond amazing!
Caring for the wonderful patients in this practice has been a true blessing ---many of whom I’ve come to see more as friends than clients. Most days it feels like I am welcoming eight visitors into my life, each one leaving not only with a brighter smile, but hopefully a little more joy in their heart. I take comfort in knowing that care will remain in such capable hands with Dawn, Lindsey and Paige.
How can I ever express my gratitude to so many people for such an amazing life? Thank you all so very much. Saying “Goodbye” is something I have never been good at, so I will simply and very-hopefully say, “See you soon!”
Sue Biewer, RDH
