Just invested in veneers or a whitening treatment? A few specifics on keeping the result looking the way it did on day one.

First 48 hours: avoid deeply pigmented foods and drinks (coffee, red wine, dark sauces) while any bonding fully sets and whitened enamel is most porous.

Ongoing: a soft-bristle brush and non-abrasive toothpaste protect porcelain’s surface and whitening results alike abrasive whitening toothpastes can actually work against you over time.

Every 6 months (or as recommended): a professional cleaning removes surface buildup that home care can’t fully manage, extending how long your result holds up.

None of this is complicated it’s mostly about consistency, not restriction.

If you’re taking Mounjaro, your oral health deserves attention too.

Side effects such as acid reflux, vomiting, dehydration, and dry mouth can indirectly affect your teeth by increasing acidity, reducing saliva protection, and contributing to enamel erosion, sensitivity, and a higher risk of cavities.
