🦷✨ Dental Emergency? Stay Calm & Act Fast!
Active kids = bumps, falls, and the occasional dental surprise. Knowing what to do in those first few moments can make a big difference! 💙
Here’s your quick parent cheat sheet:
😬 Toothache: Rinse with warm water and gently floss to remove anything stuck. If it still hurts, give us a call—skip the aspirin or heat.
😮 Knocked-Out Permanent Tooth:
Find the tooth and hold it by the top (crown), not the root. Rinse gently (don’t scrub!). Try to place it back in the socket—or keep it in milk 🥛 or saliva (not water!) and get to the dentist ASAP.
👶 Knocked-Out Baby Tooth:
Don’t put it back in—this can harm the adult tooth underneath. Rinse the mouth, use a cold compress 🧊, and focus on comforting your child. Call us if you have concerns.
🍎 Chipped or Broken Tooth:
Call us right away. Rinse the mouth, use a cold compress, and bring any pieces with you if you can.
⚽️ Active Kids Tip:
If there’s a risk of falls or collisions, a mouth guard can help protect those growing smiles! 🛡️
🚑 Serious Injury:
Head or jaw injury? Call 911 or go to the ER immediately.
We’re always here to help keep your child’s smile safe, strong, and happy! 😊
