We’ve all heard the saying, “You need a goodnight of rest” - it’s one of the best ways to heal, recover and reboot☺️

Studies have shown us that your quality of sleep has a direct correlation to your immune system health🌙

During sleep, your immune system releases proteins called cytokines, these proteins enhance your recovery and refresh your mind😴

On the other hand, Sleep deprivation may decrease production of these protective cytokines. In addition, infection-fighting antibodies and cells are reduced during periods when you don't get enough sleep😱

Moral of the story is... make sure sleep is a top priority during this time!☝🏼It’s just as important as staying sanitary! ☺️

Earlier studies used to note that men were nine times as likely to have sleep apnea as women. Today we know that sleep apnea in women is common, and the gap between men and women is nowhere near that large.
