July 7th (7/7) marks an important date in the world of orthodontics. In collaboration with the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), orthodontists nationwide are encouraging patients to complete their first orthodontic consultation at Age 7️⃣ 
 
At this age, orthodontists are able to assess the following: 
 
🦷 Excessive Spacing 
🦷 Crowding 
🦷 Jaw growth issues (openbite, underbite) 
🦷 Crossbite of front/back teeth 
🦷 Abnormal eruption  of teeth
🦷 Controlling habits (thumb, finger, pacifier) 
🦷 Identifying missing or extra teeth 
🦷 Airway concerns 
 
A referral is not required to begin this process. Simply give our office a call and we would be happy to set up an initial consultation visit.  We can’t wait to see your smile! 😊

What did you think of our Orthosaurus Rex? 🦖😀 
 
The Village of Manlius parade has become one of our favorite events to take part in. While things may have started off soggy ☔️ the weather cleared just in time ☀️ We enjoyed handing out toothbrushes 🪥and seeing so many smiling faces. We hope everyone enjoyed the festivities and had an amazing holiday weekend!!

🦷 Our treatment plan centered around broadening/expanding the patient’s dental arches, creating balance across the front teeth, and setting up a symmetrical foundation for the patient’s general dentist to replace the anterior crown. 🦷

🐭 🎢 Orlando AAO 2026 
 
Earlier this month our team took some time to recharge our batteries 🪫🔋and learn about the latest treatment techniques and technologies in orthodontics at The American Association of Orthodontist Annual Conference in Orlando, FL
 
We gained knowledge from orthodontic leaders during the day and had some incredibly fun filled nights and  
 
Dr. D is also proud to say he made it through the velocicoaster in 1 piece 🦖😂
