I do not want money to be the reason you do not get the care you need.

That is why we have Tina. She is excellent with insurance companies, she will exhaust every option for you, and she will help you understand your benefits. If you need financing, she will work out a payment plan that fits your budget.

I understand this personally. Years ago I went through fertility treatments, and I could not simply write a check for six thousand dollars. I had to finance it. That option existed, and it is part of why I have my boys today.

That is the kind of access we want to give you. If you need dental work and cannot pay for it all up front, we will work with you and give you options.

I was seven years old when I told my parents I wanted to be a dentist. I never wavered from that.

My dad's cousin, Dr. Dekker, was my dentist growing up, in a small practice on Park Avenue in Mechanicville. I remember watching him move room to room, talking with everyone, helping each person one at a time. It seemed like the best job in the world to me.

Later I had braces with Dr. Shavein, my parents' neighbor. I was his second private patient ever.

Those two experiences shaped how I practice today. I was given such personal attention as a child, and that is exactly what I try to give every patient who sits in my chair now.
