Dear Friends and Patients,
As some of you may have heard, I am no longer working at the office. My wife has not been able to obtain a position near the area and had been working in Chicago for the last couple years. I had been commuting for the last couple years or so from Chicago, splitting my time in Champaign working and in Chicago with my family. After much thought and reflection, I made the decision to sell my practice to Dr. Yudong Xu. I will be teaching more at a dental school near Chicago and will be able to spend more time with my family.
Moving forward, Dr. Xu, together with Drs. David Moon and Hannah Bonikowske, will continue caring for your oral health. Dr. Moon will be the primary doctor at the office. I’ve known him for over ten years, and I have complete confidence that you will be in excellent hands with him and the team. They share the same philosophy of compassionate, patient-centered care that has always been so important to me.
It’s hard to put into words how much the past nine years have meant to me. Thank you for the trust, kindness, and loyalty you’ve shown over the years. It has been one of the greatest privileges of my career to care for you and your families — to watch children grow up, celebrate milestones, and share stories and laughter at each visit. You’ve made my work not just a profession, but a true joy.
While I’m sad I didn’t have the chance to say goodbye to everyone in person, please know how deeply grateful I am for your friendship and support. I’ll always look back on my time at the office with fond memories and a full heart.
I wish all of you continued health, happiness, and many bright smiles in the years ahead. I am confident I am leaving you in excellent hands with Dr. Moon, Dr Bonikowske, and Dr. Xu.
