Today marks the start of month. With this day marks two announcements for us here at about me, Dr. Vo. First, this past summer began my journey with breast cancer. I was diagnosed with cancer in my right breast. It was scary yet I knew I was going to do whatever I needed to fight. In these pics are me right after my surgery and the third day heading home. I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction, a surgery that was the best decision for me. Due to finding the cancer early, I do not need chemotherapy or radiation (a true gift). What came after was recovery from surgery, more difficult than I realized. Although I am doing well, I just was not physically or mentally the same. So here is my next announcement: I have made the decision to focus on my health and my family and am transitioning the practice to pediatric dentist, Dr. Kris Norbo of nolapediatricdentistry NOLA Pediatric Dentistry. This was a very tough decision but I know the will be well taken care of by Dr. Norbo. Additionally, our amazing dental hygienist Mrs. Kelsey will continue caring for our amazing patients under Dr. Norbo’s direction.
I’d like to thank everyone for their understanding and patience over the last few months. Mostly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for having me as part of your extended family. It has been a great run and I will miss everyone. My time at TCDC has been amazing and I feel so grateful that I had the privilege to be a part of it.
As this post began as an awareness post, I’d like to end by saying to all the women out there, to please complete your and yearly . With that, for now and I’ll see you around.

Across the United States students, parents, family, faculty, fans, and alumni celebrate College Colors Day every year on the Friday before Labor Day.
To celebrate we are sharing where Dr. Vo and Mrs. Kelsey graduated from college!
To give you a hint both support PURPLE and GOLD, but Dr. Vo also supports RED and YELLOW!
I'm sure most of you could guess one of them!
Both graduated from LSU School of Dentistry!💜💛💜💛
Dr. Vo also graduated from LSU prior to dental school with a Bachelors in Zoology.
After dental school Dr. Vo attended the University of Maryland School of Dental Surgery where she obtained her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.❤️💛❤️💛
