Charcoal toothpaste may be trendy, but it is not always the best choice for growing smiles. Many whitening toothpastes can be too abrasive for children and may wear down enamel over time. When choosing a toothpaste for your child, look for one that is ADA-approved and designed for their age and needs!

Did you know that candy doesn’t directly cause cavities? The real problem is the sugar that feeds cavity-causing bacteria. Sticky and hard candies can be tougher on teeth because they stay around longer and hide in hard-to-clean spots. Treats are totally okay in moderation, just remember to keep brushing two times a day for two full minutes!
