Aren’t Hygienists the Best? We Think So

October is National Dental Hygiene Month! This month we celebrate the wonderful dental hygienists who each day raise awareness of good oral health. Thank you Jamie & Jessie for keeping our teeth clean and sparkly! 🦷 🙏 ❤️



Tips to share so we all keep our mouths healthy:

Use a fluoridated toothpaste
Brush your teeth twice a day for at least 2 minutes, and remember to brush your tongue
Reduce plaque formation, curb infection, and eliminate bad breath with mouthwash
Eat healthy foods to prevent or fight infection
Take care with acidic beverages like orange juice and carbonated drinks to not rest on your teeth for too long
Sugary foods left on your teeth too long cause cavities, so snack responsibly
Check your mouth for red or white discolorations, bleeding, sores, or bumps and be sure to consult your hygienist and dentist if you have concerns
