September is National Gum Care Month! 🦷 Red, swollen, or bleeding gums are often the first warning signs of periodontal disease—but the good news is that early gum disease is completely preventable and reversible.

Why should you care about your gums?

1️⃣ They protect your teeth: Healthy gums form a tight seal around your teeth to keep bacteria out.

2️⃣ They impact your whole body: Poor gum health is linked to systemic issues like heart disease and diabetes.

Don’t wait for pain or bleeding to clear up on its own! Need to schedule your next cleaning? We would love to see you. Call us today at 608-231-2424!

Did you know today is National Fresh Breath Day? 🌿💨

If you are masking bad breath with mints and gum, you might just be hiding a deeper issue! Chronic bad breath (halitosis) is often a sign of trapped bacteria or early gum disease.

Here are 4 quick ways to upgrade your routine today:
1️⃣ Brush your tongue: Your tongue holds most of the bacteria in your mouth. Use your brush or a tongue scraper!
2️⃣ Hydrate often: Saliva is your mouth's natural cleaner. Dry mouth leads to bad breath.
3️⃣ Floss daily: Food stuck between teeth rots and causes odors.
4️⃣ See your dentist: Professional cleanings remove the hardened plaque you can't reach at home.

Ready for a good clean? Contact us to book your next hygiene visit! 📲✨
