Even before those first little teeth appear, we recommend gently wiping your baby’s gums daily with a clean, damp cloth.

This helps your little one get comfortable with oral care and can make the transition to brushing much easier once those first teeth start to erupt! 🪥😁

Thumb sucking is a very common habit among young children, but prolonged thumb sucking can affect developing teeth and jaw growth.

We typically recommend helping children stop the habit around ages 3–4. Many children naturally outgrow it, while others may need a little extra encouragement and guidance.

If your little one is approaching their third birthday and still sucking their thumb, it may be a good time to talk with us about healthy, positive ways to kick the habit! 💚💙🐸
