✨ TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY (PHASE 1)! ✨

Congratulations to Adalyn on completing Phase 1 of her orthodontic treatment! She totally rocked it 🎸

Dr. Bates recommended early intervention for Adalyn to help improve spacing for her permanent teeth to come in through arch development, as well as to relieve the pressure she was feeling on the roof of her mouth from her lower anterior teeth. She was treated with Invisalign in 12 months and now will be on observation recall for the next couple years until she is ready for her second phase of treatment which will include bite correction (this will align her midlines too!).

Great job Adalyn!! 🙌🏻

Reminder‼️- Dr. Bates recommends that children have their first orthodontic examination around age 8

Dr. Bates had the unexpected opportunity to help his daughter through her first dental visit and she did great. We think she may have just really wanted to become a patient… or she heard about the BFO Kid’s Club coming soon! 🕶️✨🦷

💪🏻 TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY! 💪🏻

Congratulations to Noah on completing his smile transformation! We are proud of his hard work.

Noah started out with narrow, crowded dental arches, a deep bite, a right posterior crossbite, a Class II division 2 malocclusion, and an impacted lower second molar. Dr. Bates corrected Noah’s occlusion and designed his new smile with traditional braces. Thank you to Dr. Evan Chalk (Blue Ridge Oral and Facial Surgery) for his expertise in surgically exposing the impacted second molar so Dr. Bates could align it.
