We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in scheduling patient treatment, managing treatment plans, ensuring effective communication regarding finances for dental treatment, and maintaining accurate documentation. This position requires dental knowledge of procedures and insurance, strong communication skills and professional etiquette all in order to provide exceptional service to our patients.

Duties:
Coordinate patient treatment plans by reviewing documentation, coordinating insurance benefits and ensuring all necessary information is collected when discussing costs of treatment.
Utilize office systems, including Patterson Eaglesoft, to manage patient records and treatment schedules efficiently.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options, appointment scheduling, and follow-up care.
Assist in clerical duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized patient files.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and address any concerns or questions that may arise during the treatment process.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in a dental clinic or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
Dental insurance knowledge
Proficiency in office systems and computer software.
Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Strong organizational skills for effective documentation review and file management.

The Hollywood Dental team is growing to better serve our patients and we couldn't be more excited to welcome Dr. Shane Edwards!

Dr. Edwards graduated from Dallas Christian High School and received his Bachelor of Science from Abilene Christian University. He continued his education at the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, graduating in 1995.
Dr. Edwards has been married for over 25 years and is blessed with three incredible children.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Edwards and his family spend time at sporting events, church activities, and hunting, this is where they enjoy family time as well as the star-studded nights and God's peaceful beauty.
Dr. Edwards is dedicated to healthy, beautiful smiles. He believes that the practice of dentistry is relationship based, and patient driven. This enables him to provide comprehensive, interdisciplinary care to his patients. "I am committed to providing the highest quality of dental care available in an ethical and caring environment. I am devoted to continual advancement of my knowledge and skills; I strive to deliver to each patient the type of care that I would accept for my own family."
As far back as he can remember, Dr. Edwards always knew he would be a dentist. He remembers telling his mom when he was only eight years old that one day he would be a dentist, and from that day forward, he knew in his heart that is what he would do. Dentistry is Dr. Edwards’s passion. Now with over 30 years of established dental care, his philosophy on dentistry encompasses comprehensive restorative care, including conscious sedation, aesthetics, dental implants, as well as Fast braces, wisdom teeth extractions and implant supported dentures. Dr. Edwards enjoys working with children as well as adults. He whole heartedly believes in staying abreast of advances in dentistry and is continually advancing his skills.
Dr. Edwards has been able to provide meaningful care to others through dental services. Giving back through community service by volunteering and providing dental care has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of Dr. Edward’s career. He has had the opportunity to work with the State through their Crime Victim Advocate program. However, his most incredible experience to date was his trip to Africa where he was able to make significant contributions to underserved populations. He was able to provide clinics and help patients. Contributing his time and skills to making a difference in the lives of others is an extraordinary opportunity as well as a blessing.

Dr. McClendon and staff are excited to welcome Dr. Allison Day to HDC! Dr. Day will begin practicing next month and welcomes new patients of all ages.

Dr. Allison Day is originally from Burkeville, Texas, and is excited to be back in East Texas providing dental care to the communities she considers home. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston.

Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, reading, and working on arts and crafts projects.

Dr. Day is excited to welcome new patients to the office and looks forward to helping them feel great about their smiles.
