🦷 Your 3-6-year-old only needs a pea-sized amount of toothpaste for it to be effective. This may also help keep them from swallowing too much toothpaste.

👶🏻 Kids under 3 need even less; just a rice-sized amount will do.

📅 Making sure your children brush their teeth every day is key to keeping their mouths healthy. When they brush well, it helps a lot. If they rush or miss spots, it can actually cause problems.
🪥 As a parent, try to check your kids’ brushing habits from time to time to make sure they are cleaning all their teeth. It usually takes about two minutes to do a good job. You can also see if they are flossing every tooth—or maybe not flossing at all, which happens more often than you might think, even with adults.

🫂 If your child is having trouble, avoid scolding and try to make brushing fun again. You could invite them to brush with you for a while to help them get back into the habit.
