Fruit juice offers no nutritional benefits over whole fruit. Whole fruits also provide fiber and other nutrients. Infants should not be given fruit juice at bedtime, nor as a treatment of dehydration or management of diarrhea. American Academy of Pediatrics came up with new guidelines for the consumption of fruit juice in children:
For children ages one to three years old: Limit fruit juice consumption to no more than 4 ounces each day.
For children ages four to six years of age: Limit fruit juice consumption to 4 to 6 ounces each day.

Keep it simple: wiggle on the gums and wipe from red to white. On the upper teeth down, on the lower teeth up.
I’ll be happy to demonstrate it -and any other toothbrushing tricks- when I clean your child‘s teeth.

These brushing tips are simple but crucial to keep a mouth healthy. Make sure to follow them twice a day with your child to establish a healthy brushing routine early!
