APRIL IS ORAL CANCER AWARENESS MONTH!
Natural Smiles Dentistry now offers oral cancer screens using the VELscope system. The VELscope system is a powerful, fluorescence-based device that enhances the visualization of oral mucosal abnormalities such as oral cancer and premalignant dysplasia. Unlike other adjunctive devices dentists use, the VELscope system does not require dyes or prolonged testing procedures. In fact, VELscope examinations can be performed in the dentist’s office during routine hygiene cleanings. Talk to your hygienist about it at your next appointment!
