Here’s everything I secretly wish parents knew about kids’ teeth (but usually doesn’t say out loud)! 🤫

🧃 Watered down or “cut juice” causes as many cavities as straight juice. To the germs in your mouth, sugar is sugar no matter the amount.

🪥 Your child can’t do a good job brushing teeth on his or her own until they’re 7 or 8 years old and able to color in the lines

🦷 Baby teeth are just as important as permanent teeth. Cavities in baby teeth can cause severe, life threatening infection, loss of space for permanent teeth, as well as problems and damage to the permanent teeth.
