Originally from Egypt, Dr Mina Iskander received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from October 6 University followed by an advanced study diploma in Oral and Dental Surgery from Cairo University. During his mandatory military service, Dr. Iskander practiced as a general dentist in various Egyptian military health clinics. Just prior to coming to the United States, Dr. Iskander was working in his pri

vate general dental practice for 5 years. After completing a Masters in Oral Immunology and Infectious Diseases at U of L, Dr. Iskander was accepted and completed the University of Louisville School of Dentistry’s Advanced Standing Program and subsequently was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD). In total, Dr Iskander has over 20 years of experience in the dental field! In addition to his advanced and extensive training, Dr Iskander served multiple volunteer dental missions in underserved countries such as Uganda, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Malesia, Bangladesh and Liberia. Fun fact, he’s also bilingual!
