Arts & Crafts Dental Welcome To Arts & Crafts Dental.com

We provide the highest quality dentistry designed to help you keep your teeth your whole life.

We are a family dentistry practice that enjoys treating children. Our goal is for children to always have a great time visiting the dentist. Our practice has been in the Highlands since 1964, begun by Dr. Young's grandfather, Dr. Richard Young, DMD, who passed away in the early 1990s. Dr. Bridget Young revived the practice in 2001, and Dr. Linehan joined the practice in 2004. Dr. Young and Dr. Linehan have a combined 39 years of experience in dentistry. Dr Young and Dr Linehan were married in 2004. Elaine, their first daughter, was born in 2005 and Madeleine was born in 2007. We go to great lengths to make sure that you understand the dentistry you need so you can make an informed choice about your treatment. We also go to great lengths to ensure your visits are as comfortable as possible. You will certainly enjoy the courtesy and respect you receive from the doctors and staff here at Arts & Crafts Dental. As the mural painted on the Wine Market across from our practice states: “The HIGHLANDS -- Weird, Independent & Proud” and we are very happy to serve our eclectic, strong community here in the Highlands.

Strike a pose and make sure your smile looks great, too. If small imperfections have you hiding your smile, veneers or dental bonding can help transform it. Whether you're dealing with a small chip, minor gaps, or stubborn discoloration, dental bonding might be the perfect quick fix. Looking for a more dramatic, long-lasting transformation? Veneers can completely reshape and brighten your smile. Learn more: https://rwl.io/3rjZm7f

Does your mouth ever feel dry, sticky, or like you need water constantly?

It might be more than just thirst — it could be dry mouth, and it’s something we take seriously at Arts & Crafts Dental.

Saliva plays a big role in protecting your smile. It helps wash away food particles, neutralize acids, and fight cavity-causing bacteria. When your mouth remains dry for extended periods, your risk of cavities, bad breath, gum disease, and enamel damage can increase. Save this post to remember these tips, and ask our team for more info if you have concerns about dry mouth.

Happy Tooth Fairy Day! Did you know the average child loses 20 baby teeth between ages 5–7? Those tiny teeth play a big role in helping kids chew, speak clearly, and guide adult teeth into place. So when that tooth goes under the pillow tonight, celebrate it!
