Today we saw a patient who has a large diastema and does not want any orthodontic treatment. The best and most conservative option was composite bonding restorations. With 2 composite restorations we were able to close the diastema to the liking of the patient.

Just got this bill from the CDA and thinking....they should be ashamed of themselves asking dentists to pay this after a horrible year of risking our lives as “essential workers “ and never getting compensated! I have been a dentist since 2006 and it has never been harder. Our rents, materials and PPP fees just keep increasing and insurance compensations just get worse! What has the CDA done for us? Is anyone fighting for dentists of Southern California out there?? Why must we always get the shorter end of the stick between providing services and getting compensated? Why do we need to pay cda dues this year? They have done nothing for us...where is our voice? Why must we pay to be members with them just to be covered with TDIC insurance?? Why can’t we be compensated by insurances like medical doctors do? No other doctors out there have as much overhead as dentists. Is anyone feeling what I’m feeling?

Sadly, this is the result of crystal m**h, which causes complete destruction of your dentition. The “after” teeth are full cosmetic ceramic zirconia crowns. While the results are beautiful, please DON’T DO CRYSTAL M**H.
