LUMA Bonding (aka our signature Layered Composite Edge Bonding Technique) where we artistically layer multiple different shades and opacities of resin to recreate the natural depth, translucency, texture, and light reflection of real teeth 👩‍🎨

Unlike traditional composite bonding that can sometimes appear flat, bulky, opaque, or overly white, our technique is designed to mimic the anatomy of natural enamel as closely as possible.

For example for this patient, we used 6 different layers of resin to create dimension, softness, strength, and a result that looks completely natural 👀

Composite bonding should never be treated as “just adding material onto teeth” 👀

One of the most important parts of our signature Layered Composite Bonding technique aka “LUMA” is our planning process and evaluating occlusion… how the teeth come together when you bite, speak, and function.

Without proper planning, bonding can be placed in areas that experience too much pressure, increasing the risk of chipping, breaking, or premature wear.

In this case, the patient had retroclined teeth, meaning the angles and bite dynamics had to be carefully considered before treatment. This is exactly why our approach is so different.

We do not just focus on aesthetics, but we pride ourselves on long term function, balance, and durability.

Natural results are important… but so is making sure they actually last 🤍

Invisalign + our signature Layered Composite Edge Bonding (aka our Luma Technique)

By straightening the teeth with Invisalign first, we were able to create a better foundation which meant less composite needed overall and allowing the final smile to look significantly more natural, proportional, and seamless.

It’s never too late to get discovered 🥹

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that affect confidence the most 🤍

Our patient already had upper Veneers, but after years of uneven, worn lower teeth, he wanted his smile to finally feel complete. After Invisalign to align the lower teeth, we used our signature Layered Composite Bonding to restore the edges and perfectly match the color to his upper veneers 🦷
