Extreme heat can cause heat exhaustion, heat stroke and even death. When itโ€™s hot outside, stay in an air-conditioned area as much as possible or cool down with a cool shower or by using wet cloths. You can also stay cool by going to a/an:
- Cooling center
- Air-conditioned library, mall, or movie theater
- Pool, splash pad or the beachโ€‹
