Before you worry, here’s something every parent should know: new permanent teeth naturally look more yellow than baby teeth.

That’s because permanent teeth have more yellowish dentin underneath the enamel—so when a new tooth comes in beside a bright white baby tooth, the contrast can be very noticeable. 👀
