We have currently changed the protocols for covid starting May 15th 2021. When you arrive for your appt. Please come inside, check in at the front desk and have a seat in the waiting room. We are still requiring masks until June 2nd. After June 2nd it will be optional to wear masks. If you are experiencing flu- like symptoms, please call us to reschedule.

To inform our patients on our office services, their will be an increase in our fees. Due to the extra equipment we had to purchase for the safety of our patients and our staff, we are charging a PPE fee of $25.00. We will bill to your insurance but we can't guarantee this charge will be covered. We apologize for this matter.

At David A. Rositano, DDS, your health and the health of our staff are of the utmost importance. To ensure your health and the health of our staff, we are implementing some changes to our office.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it's both safe and comfortable. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Occupational Safety and health Administration. We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies' recommendations.

You will notice some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and our staff.

*Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked the same questions again when you are in office.

*We ask that you kindly call us when you arrive to your appointment at (440)960-1059, and remain in your vehicle until we call you to come in.

*When you enter our building we ask that you wait at the red door in our lobby, and one of our staff members will be out to greet you, take your temperature, and ask you some screening questions. (We are only allowing patients into the building and treatment rooms, unless you have special needs or are a small child who needs a guardian.)

*When you enter the treatment room you will be asked to wash your hands, and rinse with a hydrogen peroxide mouth rinse.

Unfortunately, you may notice an increase in our fees due to the increased cost of implementing the currently mandated Ohio State Dental Board safety protocols for employees and patients.

We look forward to seeing you again beginning on May 4th. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you, every patient, and our staff safe in our practice.

Due to the governor's stay at home order, the office will be closed until further notice. Emergencies may contact Dr. Petrov or Dr. Nardi for possible root canal treatment or Dr. Warren for possible extractions. We are very sorry for any inconvenience, but as always, the health of our patients and staff is of the utmost concern. Thank you for your understanding during these troubled times.

We are only seeing dental emergencies that are patients of record and will evaluate your emergency over the phone and direct you on what to do if we can without seeing you. We will not be able to do any kind of procedures at this time in our office. If you have any kind of questions or concerns, please call our office and one of our staff members will assist you on what to do. Sorry for the inconvenience, but this was mandated by the Ohio State dental board as of today. Hopefully this will soon be behind us. If anything changes in the upcoming weeks we will keep everyone informed.

According to the dental state board, our office will not be scheduling teeth cleanings or major procedures at this time. We will not see patients for teeth cleanings until April 6th. If you have an upcoming cleaning appointment in the next few weeks, please call our office to reschedule. Sorry for the inconvenience but this is for safety reasons for us and the patients. As your dentist we care about your safety and work hard to prevent the spread of infection. Your well-being is important to your dentist and dental staff. That's why infection control procedures are in place at your dental office.

If you are ill with flu-like symptoms, you should reschedule your appointment. If you or someone you are in close contact with have recently traveled to one of the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (China, Italy, Iran, South Korea) or if you have been exposed to someone else who was diagnosed with COVID-19 or who was quarantined as a precaution, wait 14 days until you see your dentist to make sure you have not caught the coronavirus.

If you're healthy, there's no need to cancel your regularly scheduled dental appointment. If you have any questions or concerns please call our office for further assistance.
