Replacing “just the teeth only” and omitting the gingiva on the prosthetic component is an option for some patients. These are called FP1 prosthetics, where we replace “just the teeth” and use and shape your natural gums to make it look like the teeth are coming right out of the gums.

This is an FP1 All on X case Dr. Falkenberg completed recently. The patient underwent upper and lower full mouth dental implant surgery after years of struggling with periodontal disease and loose teeth.
