It often starts with a family member or friend saying, “Just get checked to be safe...” It’s easy to postpone getting screened for cancer when you’re already feeling just fine, your calendar is full of commitments, and or concerns about cost make it easier to wait. In recognition of Head & Neck Cancer Awareness Month, Prairie Family Dental will be providing complimentary head & neck cancer screenings on Wednesday, April 15th at our clinic in Long Prairie from 11 A.M. - 1 P.M. No pre-registration, appointment, or insurance is needed.

Rebekah Muhlenkamp is a wonderful individual from our community and a voice for rural Minnesota. We are excited to cheer her on as she pursues her doctorate of dental surgery at the UMN.

Minnesota is losing more dentists than it graduates, creating care deserts across the state. The University of Minnesota is asking lawmakers for $100 million to expand its dental school.
