Superlative service beginning with the office personnel who welcomed me at 07:00AM to the “office manager” who assured me she would contact my insurance carrier and save me the hassle. At 82, I’ve visited my share of dental offices; none compared to this one.

I’m grateful for DDS Stephen Coates for over 30 years of
Taking care of mine and my family’s teeth!
He is the Best Dentist!
And Evelin my Hygienist, Absolutely the Best at cleaning my teeth!!!! I see her every 4 months for cleaning.
And all the Staff, kind, caring and diligent.
I strongly recommend the entire team!!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Coates since we moved to Long Beach in 2015 and I can honestly say, he and his staff are absolutely amazing. It’s honestly like seeing your friends. The staff is amazing & professional while maintaining a sense of personalism and Dr. Coates is at the heart of it all, insightful, professional and chair side manner is quite fun. If you’re in need of a very comprehensive dentist, go see the staff at Dr. Coates.

Been looking for a dentist since mine retired. He trained where my retired dentist taught.

Dr Coates doesn't make decisions off imaging only like some modern types, he also relies on in depth, hands on diagnosis.

Comfortable office, complimentary spring water, and the gals up front.. pleasant/helpful,; no attitude.

A great start so far. Hope to start treatment, soon.

Evelyn the hygienist did a good job in cleaning my teeth . She explained to me the right way to brush my teeth and recommend to use a mouthwash, the one without alcohol. Highly appreciated.
