This October, our i-Ortho team is wearing pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💕 We’re coming together to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and remind everyone of the importance of prioritizing their health.

Clay, laughs, and a little bit of mess 🏺

Our i-Ortho team traded the treatment room for the pottery wheel last week, and it was a first for everyone! Some of us were naturals, some made what we’re calling “abstract art,” and all of us had a blast.

Even better, the studio is owned by one of our wonderful patient families. We love supporting local businesses, especially those run by the people who make our community so special. Thank you for hosting us and for your wonderful hospitality! Community Clay 🧡

Check out this smile transformation! 🦷✨

When we first met this patient, she still had most of her baby teeth — and clinically, everything looked totally normal. No red flags on the surface.

But an x-ray told a different story. Her adult canines weren’t coming in where they were supposed to. Instead of tucking in behind the baby teeth like normal, they had taken a hard turn, heading straight toward the roof of her mouth.

Dr. Isaac’s plan: remove a few baby teeth, uncover some of the gum tissue covering the problem teeth, and then wait for the right moment to start treatment. No early phase needed here. When the timing was right, an expander plus braces brought it all together for her final smile! ✨

Take-home message:

🦷 Get that first orthodontic screening by age 7 — even if everything looks fine at home, x-rays can catch things you’d never see otherwise.

🦷 Early treatment isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. A qualified orthodontic professional can tell you exactly when — and if — it’s the right time to start.

Looking back on a summer of smiles! ☀️

From braces coming off to Invisalign transformations, this summer has been filled with so many milestones and lots of new smiles ✨

And this year, we’re celebrating 18 years of creating smiles and doing what we love every day! 🎉 Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of getting to know so many wonderful patients and families and being part of their lives through some pretty special moments — weddings, graduations, retirements, new driver’s licenses, new jobs, new babies, and so much more.

For us, orthodontics has always been about more than straight teeth. It’s about the relationships we build, the confidence we get to watch grow, and getting to be part of our patients’ lives along the way.
