At Hlavaty Orthodontics, we've been fixin' grills since '94! Dr. Hlavaty is a specialist in orthodontics.

This means he has attended several years of specialty training following Dental school. Dr. Hlavaty graduated from Logan High School, Utah State University, Washington University School of Dentistry, and received his Orthodontic specialty training and MS degree from Marquette University. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, The Rocky Mountain Orthodontic Society, and the

Utah Association of Orthodontists. He has been in practice for 20 years and completed thousands of cases. As technology and research progress Dr. Hlavaty continues to stay progressive in his knowledge and modalities of treatment.

📸 Elevate Your Braces Game with Elastics! 😁✨

Wearing elastics is key to achieving that perfect smile with braces. These little bands work hard to align your teeth and jaw, speeding up your journey to a stunning smile.

There are three main types we use...

Class II - This is used to pull the upper jaw back and the lower jaw forward to engage properly. This is also known as an "overbite".

Class III - This is used to pull the lower jaw back and pull the upper jaw forward. This is also known as an "underbite".

Triangle - This is used to close gaps or spaces between teeth to ensure they align properly.
