Although no one likes to go to the dentist, we strive to make your visits with us as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We strongly believe that our patient's comfort is an important part of quality dental care. We work closely with your dentist, but a referral by a dentist is not required to visit our office. We are extraordinarily proud of our staff, which is compromised of caring and dedicated professionals. They ensure that the patient's surgical and administrative needs are met as efficiently and smoothly as possible. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. WHAT IS A PERIODONTIST? A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease and in the placement and maintenance of dental implants. Periodontists are experts in the treatment of all forms of periodontal disease, including gingivitis, periodontitis, and gingival recession. The American Dental Association (ADA) recognizes periodontics as one of the nine specialties of dentistry. Periodontists receive extensive training, including three years of additional education beyond dental school. Giving back to our community and helping local families start the school year with a smile! 💙🎒🦷

Advanced Periodontics & Implantology was proud to partner with the Chillbox Foundation for Kids to support the Dearborn Heights Library’s Back-to-School event.

API donated over 100 dental hygiene bags, filled with kids’ toothbrushes, toothpaste, flossers, stickers, and other goodies to help encourage healthy habits and bright smiles. 🪥✨

We’re especially proud of API’s own pre-dental student, Mariam Wehbe, who took the initiative to personally prepare and assemble the hygiene bags and volunteer her time to help make this event a success. Her commitment to giving back is exactly what community involvement is all about. 💙

Families also received backpacks, books, and school supplies to help their children start the new school year prepared and excited. 📚✏️🎒

A special thank you to the Dearborn Heights Library for organizing such a wonderful event and to the Chillbox Foundation for Kids for allowing us to be part of an initiative that directly supports children and families in our community.
